Microsoft Copilot

Open the doors to the world of future AI!

Microsoft is unlocking the doors for all businesses that want to gain access to AI-powered Office features. The Copilot service is available to all businesses—large and small—with no minimum user count.

The company has backed away from the 300-seat minimum purchase requirement and is also removing the need for Microsoft 365 plans—opening up Copilot in Office apps to Office 365 E3 and E5 customers. Subscribers of Microsoft 365 Business Standard or Business Premium will be able to purchase Copilot for Microsoft 365 for $30 per user per month.

“Given the demand and the interest that we’ve heard from small and medium-sized businesses, we are removing the 300-seat minimum,” says Divya Kumar, Global Head of Marketing for Search and AI at Microsoft, in a sit-down interview with The Verge. “Now businesses of all sizes can get Copilot in Microsoft 365 for $30.”

The future of work is here!

Microsoft promises that Copilot in Office apps will change the way documents are created and edited. The feature, powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4, will sit alongside Microsoft 365 apps (similar to an assistant) and appear as a chatbot on a sidebar. It will also be available for inline invocation—allowing users to generate text in documents, create PowerPoint presentations based on Word documents, or even use functions like pivot tables in Excel.

Copilot Offer

Copilot is also available in the Teams app. This makes it ideal if you want to summarize a meeting you didn't attend, or a meeting you arrived at late. Email threads in the Outlook application can also be summarized, and Copilot can draft email responses with different tones or lengths.
